Hello lovelies,
I am back with another review on the famous Elle Beauty award winner product “IRL Paris Filter airbrush powder compact” by Wearified. This Indian beauty brand is owned by the lovely beauty blogger/influencer Aanam C.
The brand has brushes, blushes, lipsticks and many more along with their famous irl Paris filter loose powder & compact. The compact initially when launched always went out of stock as people loved the product performance and it was difficult to get it. Even some of the famous Indian influencers rave on this. Hence I decided to give it a try and instead of the loose powder I wanted the compact as when I am out and about for touch ups this would be convenient.
Packaging: It comes in a sturdy plastic black compact with a makeup sponge which is soft and does the application justice.

My Experience
Coming to the product, I was actually confused if I should get this or the loose powder one but when I saw the compact won the Elle beauty awards i had no doubt but to go for the compact. It’s a translucent powder but it has no white cast. Upon swatching this, I felt it to be silky smooth and light to the touch. It is matte but not drying matte. Definitely blurs pores and texture and prevents the oils to seep out. A unique formula. I have worn this with foundation on and without any makeup. So upon setting my foundation with this compact my skin looked smooth and airbrushed, the best part is my oils did not show up till the 6th hour of the day which impressed me. Infact as the day progressed my base looked smooth and not cakey. The powder looks good even if you don’t apply any makeup on your moisturized skin too. Something I wanted to point out is that the product does contain talc which as ingredient may not be preferred by people out there who are sensitive. When I did reach out to the customer care they were kind enough to respond and explain that the ingredient talc is used in minimal quantities only for binding purpose. The older formula was free of talc but some the customers did report saying it would break or crack due to its finely formulation and I think as a result maybe the brand decided to incorporate talc. With my skin being combination to oily I didn’t find any issues however I wanted to put this out there.
Coming to the price which is steep but not too expensive, however if you weigh it against the quality and unique formulation then it is worth it. I don’t see many Indian brands make this sort of products here in India, you do have it done by international brands but they are more expensive and difficult to get your hands on. Overall now I know why this product won the award.
