Hello lovelies,
Today my thoughts are on the innisfree green tea seed skin. Innisfree is a well known Korean brand that makes some of the best skincare products out there. And this toner or product is no different from their popular green tea range. My first innisfree product was using the jeju cherry blossom skin toner, and I simply fell in love with it. When I hit rock bottom of the cherry blossom toner I thought why not try a different toner from the same brand and hence picked out the green tea seed skin one. The green tea range is one of their best selling lines highlighting hydrating properties.

My Experience
At first I was skeptical to try out this toner as the main ingredient was green tea. But after doing research and reading its ingredient formulation, it seemed promising. My skin is dehydrated and combination at the same time. It can be dry during the winters and oily during the summers but the dehydration factor still remains as I have dry patches on my cheeks despite the humidity where I live in India. I have heard many positive reviews on this toner and decided to dive in. Luckily this toner kept its title and did suit my skin. When I read the terms hydration and dehydrated skin in its description, I was like sign me up.
Getting to the experience of using this toner, I was actually impressed. The toner hydrates my skin, doesn’t feel heavy at all. The consistency is similar to the jeju cherry blossom toner, light weight watery consistency. You can apply upto three layers depending on your use. I start off by cleansing and then go in with this toner, followed by the rest of my skincare products. I have been using this for two months and my skin feels soft, hydrated and as for my skin texture, I could see a difference as it was making it slightly smooth. The only cause of concern was my usual hormonal breakouts when it was that time of the month which is normal. Apart from that my skin felt normal and healthy. The toner does have a mild fragrance of green tea but nothing too strong. For the price you get 200ml which can be steep but you just need a little for your face and neck. It should last you more than six months. Available on nykaa, and some other Indian skincare websites that sells Korean skin brands. Overall this toner is a winner.
Pros
- It provides ample hydration.
- Does even out your skin texture slightly.
- Suitable for all skin types.
- Good quantity is provided.
- Paraben free, and free from animal originated ingredients.
Cons
- Price is on the higher side.
- I wouldn’t say this is travel friendly as you need to seal the opening area (small hole). It did leak for me once when the bottle was kept on its sides.
