Hello Everyone,
Today my thoughts are on the It’s skin Collagen nutrition emulsion review. When my Etude House moistfull collagen ran out and I wasn’t able to buy it as it is always out of stock, that’s when I thought why not give the collagen nutrition emulsion by It’s Skin a try. The collagen nutrition range focuses on improving moisture retaining abilities of the skin.
Price
INR 990 for 150ml
Packaging: I have always like the It’s Skin packaging, it just looks luxurious and elegant to hold excluding the weight though, as the product comes in a frosted sturdy glass and a normal screw cap. I wouldn’t say it is travel friendly as you have to be careful of the glass and it is heavy.
Features
- The emulsion minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

- Helps in toning and balancing skin’s moisture levels.
- Promotes skin elasticity.

My Experience
The product is similar to etude house moistfull collagen emulsion. It is a light weight moisturizer. I would suggest this for day time use, but when using it at night for your skincare routine seal it in with another thicker or your next step moisturizer which is what I do. For day time after toning, I use this emulsion as my final step. The consistency of this is not too runny nor thick, easily glides on the skin and gets absorbed fast. Now collagen as mentioned in my previous post on etude house collagen emulsion is a protein found in the connective tissues of the skin, it’s what you can say that holds the key to our youth. Marine collagen is a collagen derived from fish. Generally it is derived from fish skin or fish scales and it goes through a process of hydrolysis to produce it. The main benefit of Marine collagen is that it repairs skin collagen and elastin protein fibers thus aiding in firming skin elasticity and reducing wrinkles.
It’s been a month since I am using this and I like this emulsion. My skin looks better and healthier. When I apply this emulsion at night before my main moisturizer and wake up in the morning my skin feels bouncy and fresh. The product does remind me of the etude house collagen emulsion as that one too does give you a bouncy jelly type skin feel. Regarding the claim to wrinkles I cannot comment on that as I am in my early thirties and yet to get them.
The emulsion does help in maintaining moisture levels for your skin and regarding minimizing pores, it does help a little but I did not see a significant result. It does boost hydration to your skin. Best for mature skin as collagen strips off once you reach the age of 27 or so. Normally we say 25 is the number when old age creeps in. But I feel this emulsion will suit from the age of 27 years old. This emulsion will suit all skin types however if you are on the dry side, you need to layer it with another moisturizer on top to finish off your skincare routine. For the price, you get a good quantity and a little is all you need to apply, so it will go a long way. The emulsion does have a mild floral fragrance but nothing too empowering. Overall I really like this emulsion and will continue to use it.
