Hello lovelies,
Today my thoughts are on the Kay beauty blush in the shade coral charm. When the brand launched their blush range few months back, I have been wanting to try them out as it gained good reviews from many influencers. There are about eight blush shades that cater from light to deep tan skin tones. All of the blushes in this range are beautiful and i was confused which shade to go for. Mild berry, dusty rose, coral charm and soft nude caught my eyes. Soft nude is more of a deep nude, can be used as a bronzer for light to medium skin tones. So finally decided to go coral charm.

My Experience
The one thing I appreciate of this brand is that they put a lot of care and effort into the packaging. While the outer packaging is pretty, the inside carries a sponge type layer to encase and protect the product which is very thoughtful of Kay beauty. The product comes in a beautiful rose gold and coral round case according to the coordinated blush shade.
Coming to the formula, the blush is finely milled and very smooth. It does feel buttery and light weight when you touch it. If you go in deep with your brush to pick up the product it will give kick back, so go light hand and build it according to your preference. The shade coral charm is exactly how a coral shade looks like, something between pink and peach. I wanted a shade which I can wear on neutral basis so I felt this has both tones of pink and orangish peach. Don’t be fooled by looking at the pan thinking it’s very bright, but it is actually subtle when you apply it and can gradually increase the opacity. It reflects a matte finish on your skin but more of a natural finish and does blur your pores slightly. It lasts maybe 2-3 hours but not longer, and if you are wearing a face mask, depending on your face sweat the blush may not hold up. But that goes for most powder blushes.
In the above idea pin I have applied coral charm blush, you can get an idea or reference how it looks on my NC40 skin tone.
For the price, you get a decent quantity although slightly steep, however the formula of the blushes are good. Not to mention you do get them on sale on nykaa. Overall I really like this blush.
Pros
- Light weight and buttery formula
- Various shades according to skin tones are available
- Travel friendly
Cons
- Slightly expensive
- Only available on nykaa
- Doesn’t last long depending on how much you sweat
