Hey lovelies,
Today my thoughts are on the mamaearth bamboo sheet masks. When the brand introduced these new sheet masks to their product range I was curious to try them out. I bought two variants, they are the coco bamboo sheet mask and rose water mask.
According to the brand, these sheet masks are India’s first bamboo based masks, they are gentle and biodegradable meaning they are good for your skin and environment.
Price: INR 149/- for 25g

How to use: Remove the sheet mask from the packet, unfold and apply it on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Take off the mask after the specified time and massage gently the excess serum into your skin till it’s fully absorbed.
My Experience
To sheet mask at home is like getting an instant facial spa like effect. Especially when we are going through a pandemic and an option of going to the salon is limited or just not happening. I like sheet masking occasionally but truth be told I wouldn’t say these are like miracle things to add in your skincare however if you want to be extra or got a function the next day, that’s when these products come in handy. These sheet masks are quite comfortable to apply, the fabric sheet used is slightly thicker and firm so won’t move around much on your skin. Both the variants that is coco and rose water masks have fragrances that resemble their names and it’s quite refreshing.
The way I use these sheet masks are I keep them in the fridge to chill them out, and whenever I have a function or just want that glow I apply it on the previous night followed by my usual skincare routine. Do not wash off the serum from your face, instead let it get absorbed and apply your moisturizer on top to seal it. The coco bamboo sheet mask does give your skin a glow and does hydrate sufficiently. The serum is like any other sheet mask, it is nothing too heavy and does get absorbed. I liked the rose variant too as the floral fragrance is lovely and gave radiance to my skin. However the price is a little expensive compared to the other brands out there and I wouldn’t say it is completely worth that price but considering the fact they are bamboo based and the quality of these sheet masks do vary. Overall I liked these and will try out other variants as well from this range.
