Hello lovelies,
Today my thoughts are on the Maybelline superstay vinyl ink liquid lipstick, shade “Saucy 65”. Now this range created quite a hype and I had to get my hands on it. I wanted to buy the shade cheeky however it’s not available here on nykaa or anywhere else in India hence I went in with the shade saucy.
First off the brand did a nice job on the packaging of these, it’s plastic but of good quality. The embossing on it stands out to be chic.

My Experience
I always wanted to get a liquid lipstick that wasn’t matte but glossy and when Maybelline came out with these I knew I had to get it. Initially when this launched I was confused to what shade I wanted to pick up and after research went in with saucy. If you ask me to describe “saucy” you can say it’s a strawberry nude with pink & coral undertones. It sort of reminds me of the shade Kristen by Kylie cosmetics, I used to own that shade however it was slightly darker.
The finish is what the brand claims glossy, to me it’s like a creamy shine formula not like so glossy but it’s pretty. Unfortunately it takes time to dry down or settle. When I first wore this lipstick underneath a mask it did transfer but once it has slowly settled down it doesn’t transfer as much but the glossiness might decrease and the liquid lipstick stays put. You need to shake the bottle before application and then go in. The price is slightly up there as I do feel you are paying for the packaging however if you want that gloss finish liquid lipstick that doesn’t transfer much then go for it. And it’s not sticky, overall I like it.
