Hello everyone,
Today my thoughts are on a famous drugstore foundation by the brand Milani. When it released a few years ago, it received a major thumbs up from many influencers. Plus I was on the lookout to try a new foundation as my holy grail maybelline fit me foundation has hit rock bottom.
That’s when I thought why not give the milani conceal + perfect 2-in-1 foundation in the shade sand beige 06 a shot. Did get a good discount on this product while purchasing from Myntra site on their major Christmas sale.
Price
INR 1400 for 30ml

In the above reel I have created an everyday makeup look using this foundation, kindly check it out for skin tone reference as I am an NC40.
Packaging: The foundation comes in a sleek and sturdy glass bottle with black cap packaging. And yes it does have a pump to dispense the product.
Features
- The foundation features a 2-in-1 factor which infuses a concealer concept and provides medium to full coverage.
- Evens skin tone, conceals imperfections and produces a natural flawless finish.
- Light weight formula which is smooth and easy to blend.
- Water-resistant formula which stays put for long hours.
- Cruelty free.
My Experience
The texture of this foundation is thick and sort of creamy. I was a bit hesitant when I saw the consistency as I was worried if it will be difficult blending with a brush, but to my surprise it was easy to apply and work with it. It is a medium coverage when you apply a little with one pump. You can build this to a full coverage with one and a half pump, it won’t look cakey. However being a dehydrated combination skin type if my skin is a bit dry, which does happen often, the foundation will emphasize skin texture slightly due to its consistency. With one pump or less it gives me the right amount of natural coverage. I love mixing this foundation with M.A.C face and body foundation, it gives a smooth and skin like finish.
Coming to the shade sand beige 06, when you first apply it and after letting it sit on the skin for 3 to 5 minutes the shade does settle to a darker color, hence it does oxidize. Luckily this shade is the exact match for me as I am NC 40. Shade 07 is normally suited for Nc 40 and above but when I researched online and found that this foundation does oxidize, i went in with one shade lighter. About the claim of concealing the under eye circles, it really does the job. The foundation does have a scent which I am not sure how to describe it but I am not fond of the scent. It is not overpowering so for sensitive people it will be fine as it does go away once you blend it. Coming to the lasting power I would say it will last only for few hours probably upto six hours. It does give you a satin finish and hence I wouldn’t recommend for very oily skin types. In India this foundation is expensive for 30ml. But you do get it on sale at times that’s when you should get it. Overall I liked this foundation but for your drugstore foundation competition I still feel maybelline fit me foundation takes the cake.
