Hello Everyone,
Today my thoughts are on the brand Sugunda. The brand was kind enough to send three of their products to try; Centella green tea face wash, white lotus moisturizer and pure squalane oil. Being a blogger and digital creator on Instagram, I have been seeing how well their products are being received by other fellow bloggers and users. And that’s saying a lot. 🙂

My Experience
I have been using this face wash for sometime now, and I can convey my thoughts on it. It is definitely on the gentle side and can be used regularly. The consistency is not so thick rather a little runny. It doesn’t lather much however does the job of cleansing properly. Skin feels fresh and not dry. However if you are on the very dry side this can dry you out, as mentioned by the brand this is more suitable for oily, combination, acne prone skin types. I occasionally go through dryness so when I use this I do feel my skin feels tight after cleansing, but most of the time you can say I am combination to oily. Overall it’s a good cleanser being backed with good ingredients like Centella which is great to soothe and moisturize the skin, panthenol being another ingredient helps with calming inflammation etc. It is slightly steep in terms of price, but I feel it is formulated nicely when considering the ingredients.

My Experience
The consistency is like that of a transparent lightweight gel. It’s not heavy so definitely suitable for oily to combination skin folks out there. This is one of my favorite moisturizers. It is hydrating, skin feels nourished after application of this. Comes in a glass bottle with a pump. You can dispense the desired amount. I feel after cleansing with the Centella face wash by the brand this moisturizer is apt in usage. I feel the face wash and the moisturizer is suitable for the oily combination category, but dry skin types can also go for it, it’s just that you need to increase your moisturizing steps more.
It’s not scented, so definitely suitable for those who hates fragrance in their products. With 3% niacinamide and hyaluronic acid in it, this does help to even out skin texture but also hydrates. I would say this is a good option for the summers, monsoon seasons. Again the price is slightly steep, but given its Sugunda and their ingredient formulation, it is worth it.

My Experience
The consistency of this is like any other facial oil, it’s not thick, glides well on the skin and gets absorbed. Feels very hydrating. The one thing I noticed is that whenever I apply this oil, my skin feels moisturized, gives a glow, you do get a feeling that you have applied facial oil which is normal to say. But if you are on the more oilier side maybe you would feel slightly greasy however it is suitable for all skin types including sensitive ones. It tackles skin concerns like dullness, dehydration, fine lines & wrinkles. Don’t know about the fine lines & wrinkle part but it does a fine job of hydrating and tackling dullness. I use this in my PM routine normally as living in a humid environment I prefer using facial oils during my nighttime routine. You can use this twice daily as mentioned by the brand. Overall a good oil to use.
