Ever heard of a scrub soap? Well not me, that is when I came across this product on nykaa while shopping online. I was curious as to how it performed, so went ahead and purchased it. In need of a foot stone or a pumice stone for scraping of the dead cells on foot, was when I thought why not give the vaadi herbals elbow foot knee scrub soap a try.

My Experience
At first I was skeptical and after trying the scrub soap let’s just say, I share a love and hate relationship. The scrub soap is light grey in color with granules or beads in it which helps in removing dirt or scrubbing. However this soap is kind of fascinating. When I first used this product, I used it on my body in areas where dirt was stacked up and it did a good job of removing it. I forgot to take the bath scrubber into the shower, that’s when I thought of using the scrub soap directly on my body. Plus on my foot for scraping of the dead cells. The experience of using it, well it felt a little harsh using it directly for scrubbing the body part dirt but it did the job. The more you massage the soap onto the skin the more the beads get exposed on the surface of it. The soap however is solely used for scrubbing knees, elbows and feet. You can lather the soap in your hands and massage it onto your body according to the brand explained tip. When it came to scrubbing on my foot, it does remove the dead cells gently but it’s not as harsh like using a pumice stone so it wouldn’t do the job fully. The one thing I disliked is that it does dry out your skin so go in with a hydrating body moisturizer after your shower. Do not directly rub the soap on your body only lather it in your hands first and then massage on your body with your hands as the beads can be harsh unless you have a lot of dirt that you want to get rid of. For foot I still recommend a pumice stone but if you want a gentle foot exfoliator then this is for you. Dry skinned beauties must go in with a hydrating body lotion or try using this scrub soap probably once in a week. Now for the claim about lightening, well I did not feel that however what it says is that the dirt factor goes thus keep it clean and bright. It’s got a soapy fragrance to it, like how normal department store soaps smell. None the less I don’t mind the scent. And the best part, it’s cheap and the brand sources its ingredients from organic farms and makes use of herbal ingredients. Overall I like this product but I would limit the usage of it to once or max twice a week. It has a shelf life of three years.
