Hello Beauties,
Today I am reviewing the much popular setting mist by Wet n Wild. Well it’s a 3 in 1 primer water spray, that helps your makeup to last longer and add a boost of glow to your look. The wet n wild in this primer water range consists of three variants, they are the rose addiction (rose scent), in love with coco (coconut scent), and the final one is cool as a cucumber (cucumber scent). I went ahead and bought the rose addiction as I love rose facial mists. Wet n Wild as a makeup brand caters to very affordable drugstore cosmetics or makeup. Their main popularity lies with their foundations and highlighters which gave in a lot of hype when released as the price is budget friendly.
Price
INR 499 for 45ml
Packaging: The mist comes in a small white plastic packaged bottle, with the brand name and a simple floral print on a light purple see through plastic cap along with a white nozzle. The nozzle is good as when you pump out the product, the mist spritzed is very fine in consistency.

My Experience
I apply my moisturizer first and then go in with this primer water as my starting base to applying makeup. Now the first time I used this, I had a small on the spot reaction sort of pimple which went away after an hour. I guess since it was the first time using the product maybe my skin reacted negatively just in that particular area. But I did see the same problem the second time, however after that the third time was fine, my skin got used to it and I didn’t see any reaction from then on. The mist is hydrating and the way the nozzle sprits is very fine and absorbing. It doesn’t shrink the pores a lot but maybe a little. I used the smashbox 24 hydrating foundation on top of this but that foundation is good for oily skin to be honest it didn’t go well with my dry skin, so when I noticed some dry patches coming through I used this mist to smooth it out, however that didn’t go well. So the second time i used my maybelline fit me foundation the matte one, that turned out to be good. I do get the feeling that this setting spray may not suit all foundations unless you try it out. When used as a setting spray it did hold my makeup together and made it look smooth.
The primer water is light so it does get absorbed instantly into the skin and does hydrate, but if you are very dry then this may not be enough, so do moisturize before hand properly. It does give a glow to your makeup but not in an illuminated way but like satin finish and also imparts a skin like finish. I don’t use the mist to refresh my makeup during the day as I normally don’t do that, so cannot comment about the refreshing part, but I believe it does the job as per some reviews I saw on YouTube by some influencers. The mist has a rose scent which I really like but for those of you who are not fond of scents or are sensitive should refrain from using it. The price is fine but the bottle is small so if you regularly use it, it will get empty soon. Overall I like this primer water by Wet n Wild.
